The Client’s brief stated the ironmongery specification had to meet a very high standard. It required a proven unique lever handle which would not only put their own stamp on the building but also be fit for purpose and provide longevity. MB Architectural also had to source a product that had a proven track record in helping deter the spread of a variety of harmful microbes. Bronze and copper alloys have a natural ability to destroy harmful microbes relatively rapidly (often within two hours or less). Specifying the solid bronze FSB 1023 lever and pull handle MB Architectural fulfilled these criteria.
